Nathaniel Dorris is a 2022 1B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Harrisburg, PA who attends Central Dauphin HS. Recorded a 6.13 second 40-yard dash time. Large frame with long limbs and room to fill out with additional strength. Primary first baseman who bends at the waist and is deliberate to the backhand. Deliberate actions and has arm strength recorded up to 72 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with a small stride forward and an inside swing path. Has strength off the barrel and the swing plane is clean through the hitting zone when he gets his hands out. Whips the barrel some and creates drive. Good leverage and lower half involvement with some power to the pull side. Good student.
