Jacob Burnham is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West. Athletic frame, budding strength in his proportioned build. A primary left handed pitcher, strong base with slight crossfire that adds deception as he hides the ball well. High 3/4 release and scap loads with a faster shoulder. Mixed a curveball and changeup that both look like solid future offerings. The curveball had tighter spin and hard downer action when extended, the changeup shows some sink. A secondary first base and outfielder. At first base, he is quick off the bag with balance and good glove placement, very strong arm for the position. In the outfield, good body control working through and fielding the ball out front. clean exchange and on line throws. A righthanded hitter, balanced start with hands above the ball, and uses a small stride to trigger. Stronger hands that keep the barrel speed up and he worked the middle of the field well. Outstanding student.
