Jake Walker is a 2022 MIF/RHP, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from St Louis, MO who attends Oakville Sr. Extra large frame, long and lanky build with room to fill. Good size and physical projection. Primary middle infielder with a short arm action, fields out front with a funnel to the center. Developing coordination and fluidity to the actions, clean round overall, made all the plays. Right-handed pitcher with a long and high-arching arm stroke, segmented actions. Comes from a high three-quarters slot, misdirected lower half with limited drive. Longer slider that breaks out of the hand, is able to land it for strikes. Will improve as he gets over his front side and gets downhill. Right-handed hitter with an even hand set and small leg lift trigger. Medium base with flexed knees, deep load with an arm bar. Longer swing path, developing barrel accuracy. Small weight shift back, uses the lower half well, produced solid line drive contact during his round. Good student.
