2006 National Underclass Showcase
Joe Glavin is a 2008 MIF that attends Cottonwood HS and resides in Draper, UT with a 5'8", 160 lb. frame. Joe has an athletic build and showed a very solid all-around game at the showcase. He plays for one of the top high school teams in the country this year so visibility should be good. At the plate Joe has a short line-drive swing with good bat speed. Joe has very good balance in his swing and waits on the ball well. His swing is very efficient and he can really drive the ball well to the middle of the field. In the field Joe looks like he could project well at second base or third base. He has good footwork with a quick release and was solid in almost every aspect in the field. Joe is a strong student that will attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
