Anthony Schiltz is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Glenwood, IA who attends Treynor HS. Large and sturdy frame. Ran an 8.29 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves to the baseball with short steps, fields the baseball in a high gathering position bending at the waist, takes a loose arm stroke into his throws, creates some arm strength across the diamond topped out at 80 mph, actions play at his primary third baseman position. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a side step up to a high and tucked leg lift, takes his arm back to a fully extended long arm action up to a ¾ arm slot, stays online to the plate with his lower half, fastball has some sinking action and topped out at 78 mph, flashed a curveball with developing spin. Righthanded hitter, utilizes a big leg kick trigger to begin his swing, takes a downhill swing plane to the baseball, strength at impact with squared, can continue to improve at the plate with some refining.
