Antonio Antoniades is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Monroe, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes short steps moving towards the ball, gets low working through the ball with longer strides up the middle, hands play at the ball out front, funnels into a looser arm stroke with some effort across, can drop slot on throws, actions will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box with an even stance. Upper body dominant swing, can incorporate additional lower half into weight shift, loads hands back at start of swing. Stays short to the ball and linear through the zone, occasionally gets uphill with swing. Contact orietned approach, looks to pull the ball at point of contact and shows comfort doing so. Very good student.
