Taylor McCart is a 2020 RHP/C/IF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Anchorage, AK who attends Bartlett HS. Big and strong build. Compact arm action on the mound, hides the ball well, tight 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, gets nice sinking action down in the zone, threw strikes with his fastball and pitched to contact, ground ball pitcher. Soft curveball dropped in for strikes with some 11/5 shape, developing change up. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift or use, best swings are when he stays short with his swing and works the middle of the field. Also catches and plays first base. Good student.
