2024 National Showcase
Nick Diaz is a 2025 1B/3B/OF with a 6-5 175 lb. frame from Parkland, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Extra long and slender build, if anything is taller than listed. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well and has good lateral agility, some idea on his footwork throwing, plenty of arm strength for the position. Also worked out in the outfield, long arm stroke, makes accurate on line throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a medium base with an inward toe tap into his stride, works to keep his swing short and direct, has easy power with loose hands and some extension when he gets the barrel out in front, big power projection. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
