Conner Paquette is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-1 135 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Faith Lutheran HS. Large frame with a slender build and room to fill out in the future. Ran a 7.25 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch. Hip turn at the gather with a full leg lift above the belt. Longer take back at hand break into a three-quarters arm slot. Stays linear down the mound when working to the plate. Short arm side life on the fastball topping out at 77 miles per hour. Throws a slurve type curveball with a 10-to-4 shape in the mid 60's as well as a sinking changeup. Shows solid command of pitches able to stay around the zone with all three. Also worked out as a secondary outfielder. Short and deliberate strides to the ball when closing. Short arm action into a lower slot release. Developing carry to the infield topping out at 76 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide spread stance and high hand and elbow set. Leg lift trigger into contact with linear actions to the ball. Stays inside the ball with a flat plane through the zone. Very good student as well.
