Anthony Molfino is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Barnegat, NJ who attends Barnegat. Recorded a 5.35 second forty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with some present lower half strength and room to physically mature. Developing defensive skills behind the plate with quick footwork out of the crouch and efficient mid-line transfers to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 72 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Pull-side approach with rotational upper-and-lower half mechanics that have a tendency to create an elongated, round swing path. Creates occasional line drive impact when on-time, showing potential for future gap-to-gap power as he matures. Developing barrel skills with good balance throughout his swing that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.
