Takumi Maeno is a 2019 OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Hakata, FO who attends Higashi Fukuoka HS. Medium athletic build with a high waist and some present strength. Outstanding runner, 6.49 in the sixty. Has energy and quickness in the outfield, works low through the ball with a clean release and some carry on his throws, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with lots of moving parts bat he stays on time and has good direction to contact, has hand strength and gets some jump off the barrel, stays on plane with the ball, will hit to all fields due to his balance and direction, uses his speed well on the bases and will take the extra base. Very fast player who plays with energy to maximize his best tool.
