Zack Williams is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Midland, GA who attends Columbus. Medium frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.56 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery from a modified windup that starts with a side step up to a high leg lift, take his arm back to a long arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, stays online to the plate with his delivery, could improve arm speed and momentum to the plate with adjustments to rhythm down the mound. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, mixes in a curveball with 12-6 shape and depth, pitches to contact and maintains velocity, throws lots of strikes with both offerings. Secondary outfielder, fields the ball out in front and works through it with an online release. Righthanded hitter, spread out and open stance at the plate, starts his swing with a toe tap trigger, upper half dominant swing with a long and linear swing plane, pull side approach with a feel for the barrel. Outstanding student.
