Andres Garcia is a 2019 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from North Hills, CA who attends Birmingham HS. Medium frame with athletic build, ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Hits from rigid, wrapped start, even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift trigger, shows bat speed with some leverage off of front side, did a good job consistently getting barrel on the ball. Primary infielder, good hands out front with clean actions, plays low to ground, clocked up to 79 mph across the diamond. Also took outfield reps, clocked up to 79 mph. Also pitched, fastball worked 70-75 mph with good arm side life, showed feel for working to both sides of the plate, flashed curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Good student.
