Adrese Azzani is a 2019 1B with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Orinda, CA who attends Miramonte HS. Long and lean athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, has a long and loose swing with some bat speed, extends well through contact, pull to mid field contact, can get the ball to jump and has the frame and projection to keep improving. 7.94 runner, shows nice athleticism around the first base bag, shows range and good balance on the move, can throw from multiple arm slots with accuracy. Also pitched, has good direction to the plate with an extended mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with lots of late running action. Slider by far the best of his two breaking pitches, has some tightness and good depth, soft curveball. Follow closely for additional strength gains both as a hitter and as a pitcher. Good student.
