Daniel Axson is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Delfgauw, ZH who attends Mondriaan, Delft, The Netherlands. Recorded a 7.56 second 60-yard dash time. Physical frame with lots of well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary first baseman with soft hands and very good glove side skills. Short arm stroke with an accurate arm across. Light on his feet with advanced throwing and glove work skills. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a wide base. Clear impact strength at the point of extension. Very strong wrists and forearm strength. Works to both gaps with intent. Short, inside swing path and power would play better with additional extension and lower half usage. Good student.
