Zakary Morales is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Wolcott, CT who attends Holy Cross. Strong athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.42 second sixty-yard dash. Displayed out front fielding actions with long strikes working to and through the baseball. Showed a clean backhand with good range to both sides of the infield. Flashed a compact arm action with quick releases and developing arm strength topping out at 64 miles per hour with accurate carry to the bases. Right handed hitter. Employs a even stance with a leg lift trigger and a high hand and back elbow set up. Displayed the ability to create barrel speed with a high intent swing and quick hands working directly to the baseball. Employs a gap to gap approach with good strength at contact to go along with jump off the barrel to and through the gaps when on time and squared.
