Cole Braaten is a 2021 OF/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Lake. Recorded a 7.11 second sixty-yard dash time. High waisted, athletic frame with additional room to add strength. Primary outfielder; incorporates proper footwork into approach, fielding slightly off his front foot, while maintaining some momentum through release. Displayed online, accurate throws to bags during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, even based stance with a high back elbow and a negative lower half loading mechanism. Middle-to-opposite field approach with good balance throughout swing and occasional impact when on time. Displayed fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with developing feel for the barrel. Will improve with minor refinements and additional strength. Excellent Student.
