Jachob Walters is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Arlington, TN who attends Arlington. Extra large and sturdy frame. Ran an 8.45 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with young actions working to and through the baseball, carries momentum into throws while shuffling at release, actions play best at his primary third base position, throws with intent and developing arm strength topping out at 73 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a short turn step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back up to a long arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, lands closed working out over his front side, fastball is straight and topped out at 76 mph, mixed in a developing curveball in the low-70s. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance, takes a leg lift trigger into contact, strength present into swing and can show some off of the barrel when squared up, works best at the plate when upper half and lower half are in sync to the baseball, flashed some juice at impact during batting practice.
