Anthony Marotta is a 2020 RHP/2B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Whitestone, NY who attends St. Francis Preparatory. Recorded a 5.05 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some strength present in the lower half. Primary righthanded pitcher who works exclusively from the stretch. Clean take back out of the glove with a full arm stroke and over the top arm slot. Can create cutting or sinking action on the fastball dependent on the release angle and topped out at 75 mph. Curveball had looser spin and 11/5 break from an elevated plane. Arm strength played well from secondary position of second base. Righthanded hitter with a narrow start, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Longer swing path and looks to meet the ball out in front. Line drive approach and could work on a line to both fields. Good student.
