Robbie Coronado is a 2020 C/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Robstown. Large frame with athletic, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Primary catcher, catch-and-throw skills stand out, athletic behind the plate with good explosion and lateral agility, quickness of feet combined with release and arm strength allow him to neutralize running games, chance to be a very good defender. Also stood out in the infield, works through the ball well and shows easy hands and overall athleticism, profiles well at third base, loud arm, clocked up to 88 mph across. Hits from upright stance, loads into back hip well, swings hard with intent to do damage, length to stroke at times, when on time he can drive the ball deep pull-side, good extension through contact.
