Chris Craycraft -- Craycraft is a lean junior infielder/pitcher from Kentucky with strong hips and legs and good body life. He has especially good lower body actions on defense that get him in good position to use his strong arm. Craycraft’s hands also play and he runs very well. At the plate, Craycraft has a sound fundamental swing with a high hand set up and good load and generates good torque from his lower half. Once he gets a little stronger, Craycraft will have the bat speed and swing base to hit very well at the next level. He also threw 2 innings and showed impressive arm strength there as well. He has a quick, somewhat floppy arm stroke that generates an 85 mph fastball and good 71-73 mph curveball. With some mechanical adjustments he could become a very interesting pitching prospect. Craycraft is a good student, too. Keep a close eye on this kid as a 2-way prospect.
