Jeff Sonneman is a 2019 OF/MIF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Brewster, WA who attends Brewster. Compact frame with an athletic build. Ran a7.24 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Clean footwork with an aggressive close. Funnels to the side and into a long take back. Loose high three-quarter slot release with developing accuracy at 76 MPH. Also worked out as a secondary infielder. Aggressive close from the infield as well. Fields out in front with a funnel in. Upper body release from a three-quarter slot topping out at 73 MPH. Lefthanded hitter with an upright and even stance to start. Utilizes a simple leg lift trigger for timing. Throws the barrel head out and get to the baseball out in front. Simple path through the zone creating bat speed. Pull side approach with occasional jump when barreling the baseball. Good student as well. Verbal committment to Columbia Basin College.
