Mason Reed is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Norfolk, MA who attends Catholic Memorial. Large frame with good size and build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.40 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, upper-body oriented delivery, short crossfire stride downhill, throws from low three quarters slot, fastball worked 71-76 mph with slight arm side life, worked in curveball with sweeping shape. Hits from upright, slightly open stance with leg lift trigger and exaggerated deep hand load, swings it hard on linear plane, pull approach due to front hip opening early, shows some strength. Good student.
