Peter Asjes is a 2021 RHP/2B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Nevada, IA who attends Home School. Right-handed pitcher that has a tall and slender frame with room to fill out and add strength. Has a slow and smooth delivery, with a belt high leg lift and good extension out front through finish. Lands online with good direction in the lower half, showcasing a long and loose arm action from a three-quarter slot. Fastball shows some late life to the arm side at 79-83mph, working well to both sides of the plate. Shows good control and command of the fastball and has developing feel to spin a mid-60s curveball with 11-5 shape and depth. Shows a changeup at 73-74mph with sinking action as a solid third pitch. Projects well with repeatability on the mound. Good student.
