2023 California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Diego Ramirez is a 2026 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Downey, CA who attends Warren. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields balls cleanly out to the side with an in rhythm exchange. He is aggressive to the ball. Has a developing arm with some carry and accuracy to the intended base. At the plate he uses a medium base with a leg lift trigger. He has a direct path with a middle of the field approach. Occasionally gets mistimed but shows a fluid swing pattern. More to come with added physical strength. He is an excellent student.
