Sean O'Connor is a 2008 OF with a 5'7'', 170 lb. frame from Marathon FL, who attends Marathon HS. He has a short frame with some stockiness and present strength. O'Connor is a strong runner and ran the 60 in 7.09. He got to balls quickly in the outfield but tended to rush his throws. O'Connor threw 70 mph during outfield drills. Offensively, O'Connor hits from a wide no stride approach and his present strength is evident. He has a short swing to the ball and makes hard line drive contact to all fields. O'Connor is an aggressive hitter who attacked pitches early in the count. He's at his best when he keeps his head down on the ball through contact instead of pulling off. O'Connor is also a good student.
