Blake Reynolds is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Madisonville, KY who attends Madisonville North Hopkins. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary third baseman with smooth paced footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a deeper position and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Flashed some range to each side and released from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Throw produced some on line carry across the infield topping at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple toe tap trigger. Generated some linear shift into contact with lower half. Tends to hit off a taller from side while employing a clean linear barrel plane. Primarily worked to the middle of the field and flashed some strength at contact when incorporating lower half. Also pitched showing a side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays flexed on back side at gather. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Compact stride out front at release. Fastball created occasional downhill plane through the zone in the low 70's, topped at 72 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with looser spin and occasional depth in the mid 60's. Consistently looked to locate to the bottom of the zone with developing feel for the edges of the plate.
