Ayden Collazo is a 2021 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 186 lb. frame from Yonkers, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Slow paced well-controlled delivery with a clean hand separation, high arm slot creates good downhill plane, gets his upper body out over his front side well, hides the ball well in back. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, more velocity there with physical maturity, fastball velocity plays up due to deception and created lots of swing and miss. Showed good feel and quality to his secondary pitches as well. Slider has nice sweeping action and some depth, change up showed good arm speed with some occasional cutting action. Good chance to keep improving. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with good lower half rotation in his swing, long and strong swing with some pull-side contact. 4.91 runner in the forty, corner infield tools on defense with some carry on his throws. Good student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
