Ivan Markel is a 2021 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Boca Raton Community. Medium physical build with present strength. Ran a 7.22 sixty. Showed athletic actions attacking the ball in the outfield to go along with a dliberate transfer and good footwork. Topped out at 73 miles per hour from the outfield. In the infield showed good footwork with a deeper funnel and online carry across the infield on throws. Topped out at 72 miles per hour across the infield. Also worked out at first base. Showed good footwork with a low centered funnel. Showed good footwork at pivot with good arm strength topping out at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter. Utilizes a spread open stance with a high hand and back elbow set up. Showed the ability to create bat speed in a opposite field line drive approach. Flashed good pull side pop during batting practice as well. Good student.
