Michael Morgan is a 2008 MIF/P with a 5'9'', 140 lb. frame from Russells Point OH, who attends Indian Lake. Morgan has a thin body with a lean wirey build. Defensively, Morgan has good defensive actions and moves to the baseball well. He has soft hands with a good quick release. Morgan throws with some effort across the infield and follows his throws well. He makes good throws that are online with some carry. At the plate, Morgan starts with a wide base with good balance. His knees are bent and knocked much like the style used by Moises Alou. He uses a short load to start his swing and has a short stride. Morgan takes his hands to the ball well and his hands work well in his swing. He has a slight uppercut to his swing and has present line drive power. Morgan glides to contact and makes solid contact. Morgan is a very good student.
