Jonathan Edward is a 2021 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Cypress Lake. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Long and loose swing at the plate, right handed hitter, has some bat speed with more to come. 7.20 runner, is aggressive using his speed on the bases, moves to the ball well in the outfield, footwork from fielding to throwing still developing, tends to get tall and stop to throw, developing arm strength that will improve with adjustments. Also pitched, high 3/4's slot, rears back and fires, arm tends to be late, did not throw an off speed pitch. Very good student.
