Tristan Thomas is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Clements High School. Medium build with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Hits from relaxed stance with wide base, toe tap trigger, stays inside with hands through zone, middle-field approach with good contact skills. Worked out in the outfield, feet work well, moves cleanly and consistently, fields cleanly out front, arm is loose and projectable, clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Also pitched and graded out well there, turns hips over rubber and hides the ball, three quarters slot with good arm speed, fastball worked 75-82 mph with good arm side life, adds/subtracts velocity well, sweeping curveball with good command, also flashed swing-and-miss changeup with tumble.
