Brian Delaney is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Smithtown, NY who attends Smithtown West. Large frame with long limbs and present strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth tempo delivery. Stays balanced at gather and displayed a loose arm circle at take back. Released from a high three-quarters arm slot generating good downward plane with some arm side run, topped at 81 miles per hour. Displayed good feel for an 11/5 breaking ball with loose spin and solid depth. Consistently landed breaking ball within the zone in both positive and negative counts. Also flashed a slider offering with the low 70's that generated tights spin and sweep to glove side. Consistently worked ahead of hitters while inducing weak contact.
