Dawerlyn Rodriguez is a 2019 OF with a 6-3 189 lb. frame from the Dominican Republic. Large physical frame with a strong build and broad shoulders. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Short and athletic movements getting to the ball with a quick first step. Gets the ball to the side with a quick funnel to the body. Clean exchange into an easy arm action. Accurate to the bag with very good carry in throws and keeps the ball low. Throws topped out at 92 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide spread and good balance in swing. Utilizes a short leg trigger for timing. Generates a lot of bat speed and uses lower half well. Big power potential as hit tools develop. Named to the 2018 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.
