Bryce Humphry is a 2023 C/RHP, 1B, UT with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from San Clemente, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic. Medium to large build with present physicality and room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary catcher, sets up in a conventional crouch, showcases some feel for his framing work. Light on his feet behind the dish, replaces feet well on his throws. Posted a 1.98 second pop time down to second base in the catching workouts. At the plate, uses a slightly closed and upright stance with a linear weight shift trigger. Upper half starts coiled and launches from there, some present bat speed through the zone. At his best when staying inside the baseball. Solid pop with the ability to drive the ball to his pull side gap.
