2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Jackson Kent is a 2021 RHP with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Pace, FL who attends Pace. Just pitched at this event. Long limbed, extra-large frame with plenty of projection. Methodical delivery with repeatable mechanics, stays on line and gets down the mound well. Fast arm with some whip to it through a low three-quarters slot that created sink to the fastball clocked up to 87 mph. Locates well to both sides of the plate and works down in the zone generating weak ground ball contact. Tunnels a big sweeping breaking ball off the fastball that worked as a strong second pitch. Projects well to added velocity with added strength. Good student. Named to 2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
