Alfonse Dello Russo is a 2023 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from West Friendship, MD who attends Glenelg. Tall and slender young build, lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Has good young fundamentals in the outfield on defense, works through the ball well with good footwork and transition to throwing, glove is smooth and confident throwing the ball, can get more extension in his arm action for more carry on his throws. Left handed hitter, upper body rotational swing from a low separated hand set, bat speed will continue to improve with additional lower half use and additional strength. Also pitched, compact arm action with a late high hand break, gets down the mound well and gets extended out front. Fastball was in the mid-70's, mostly straight, still developing feel for spinning a breaking ball. Excellent student.
