Jacob Stoner is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Geneva, NE who attends Fillmore Central. Medium frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.15 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Quick feet when moving to the ball and through transfer. Fields with a deeper funnel and softness in hands. Makes accurate throws across with developing arm strength topping out at 79 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and slightly open stance and high back elbow. Short stride out front with a small leg lift trigger for timing. Flat path through the zone with a rotational upper half. Middle of the field approach with some gap-to-gap jump when squared. Excellent student as well.
