Marcos Escalera is a 2019 RHP with a 6-0 186 lb. frame from Kissimme, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian HS. Medium athletic body, some present strength with room for more. Well paced delivery with a high leg raise and a long arm circle in back, high 3/4's arm slot, strong glove side pull down, stays on line well. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, lots of arm side running life at times, showed the ability to work to both sides of the plate, challenged hitters with fastballs. Soft curveball has some downer shape to it but needs to be sped up and tunneled with his fastball better. Good athlete who fielded his position well while throwing strikes. Good student.
