Collin Kadlecek is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-4 165 lb. frame from Castle Pines, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Tall and athletic frame, highly projectable and lots of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.33 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, deliberate delivery beginning, long arm action works up to a 3/4 arm slot, gets close coming up to balanced point, pulls glove side through to allow for the throwing arm to work its way through, limited explosion from the lower half, could get more drive from the lower half for added involvement, some effort at release. Fastball is mostly straight but did flash occasional sink topping out at 77 mph, good bite to 12-to-6 curveball, showed feel for the pitch and was sharper with thrown with more arm speed. Also took reps in the infield, fields in a high gathering position, hands play with fluidity especially to the backhand side, shuffles into throws from a longer release, can throws from multiple arm angles with average arm strength, topped out at 79 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, even stance with a high hand set, bat waggle at load, short stride into contact, lift in swing and looks to lift, worked to all fields during round, lets the baseball travel and worked best to the opposite field for line drives, one handed finish. Outstanding student.
