Christopher Carbonara is a 2021 RHP/C, 3B, SS with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Brockton, MA who attends Brockton. Medium frame with mature build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.35 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, coils into back hip deep over rubber, violent head movement at release, fastball worked 76-80 mph with good life to the bottom of the zone, mixes in sharp curveball with good bite, did a very good job throwing strikes and missing barrels. Hits from narrow, upright stance with low hand set, looks to create backspin with swing, middle-field approach, shows good bat speed. Worked out defensively behind the plate, stands to throw, shows good ground gained, quick release, clocked up to 70 mph to 2nd base. Also took infield reps and showed velocity up to 79 mph. Very good student.
