Connor Kolb is a 2019 RHP with a 6-4 194 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Thomas HS. Long and lean pitcher's build, has some present strength, projects well physically. Long arm stroke in back, still working on maintaining direction consistently to the plate but makes adjustments well on the mound, arm works well coming through. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 79 mph, more there in the future, gets lots of life to it in different parts of the plate, especially good cutting life at times, works fastball in and out and up and down. Has good feel for spinning the ball and lands both a curveball and a short cutter type slider for strikes. Has an idea how to pitch and was effective changing speeds and moving the ball around. Will continue to improve. Good student.
