AJ Cruz is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 137 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Christian. Long and lean build with lots of physical projection ahead. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and narrow stance with a leg lift trigger, gets coiled on his back side, some barrel wrap to start his swing, swings hard with a long and loose swing, will develop some nice barrel whip when he gets stronger, middle of the field contact with some lift out front. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Has quick feet and lots of energy on defense in the middle infield, quick and confident hands at the ball, works well through the ball and can make the charging play. Also threw from the outfield during drills. Took a turn on the mound, high leg raise delivery with a long and loose arm action, some energy at release. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, also threw a soft curveball with some depth.
