Kael Kolarik is a 2022 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Indianola, IA who attends Indianola. Athletic strong build with room to fill out. Ran a 6.95 second sixty-yard dash. Showed low actions working up and through the ball while fielding. Developing glove actions with confident backhand. Good range to both sides of the infield. Flashed good arm strength with accurate on base carry while topping out at 83 miles per hour across the infield. Right handed hitter. Employs a narrow slightly open stance with a high leg lift trigger and a high hand set up. Utilizes a slightly elevated bat plane working to the pull side gap with consistent loud contact. Showed good barrel control with consistent loud line drives and fly balls to the pull side. Right handed pitcher. Uses a small side step to a belt high leg lift staying flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online at finish. Throws from a high three quarter arm slot with good arm speed. Flashed developing control of fastball topping out at 76 miles per hour complemented by a 11/5 curveball with good depth at 69 miles per hour. Great student.
