Isaiah Jackson is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Savoy, IL who attends Champaign Central. Very long and tall athletic build, huge amounts of room to fill out and get stronger. Two-way prospect whose body best profiles on a pitcher. 6.57 runner, shows his athleticism well in the outfield defensively, long and loose arm stroke with lots of carry to his throws, can improve his footwork through release for even better carry and accuracy. Right handed hitter, hits from an even stance with a late hand load that can be mistimed, multi-part swing, pretty short to the ball, gets out to his front side early and gets ahead of his barrel, line drive to downhill swing path. High 3/4's arm action on the mound with a deep arm action in back close to his body, very fast arm, has lots of work to do mechanically but has a high ceiling with work and repetitions. Fastball topped out at 93 mph early, mostly upper 80's, big slow curveball. Very interesting player who will need some patience.
