Camron Poe is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Lean athletic build with long arms and legs, plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch, full arm swing in his takeaway, gets off line in back, extended 3/4's slot. Fastball worked in the mid to upper 80's, topped out at 90 mph, gets nice sink at times, works mostly arm side with his fastball. Slider is his primary pitch, has some sweeping action on them and has a feel for commanding the pitch, attacked left handed hitters with the slider, more fastball oriented to right handed hitters. Will need to develop a change up for the next level. Exceptional student, verbal commitment to Duke.
