Oliver Service is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-0 188 lb. frame from Detroit, MI who attends University Liggett HS. Recorded a 6.90 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some well-proportioned strength and room for more. Primary catcher who gets out of the crouch quickly. Over the top arm slot with a quick release and lots of moving parts. Recorded a best pop time of 1.93 seconds. Secondary outfielder with a longer arm stroke and effort at release. Good carry on throws up to 88 mph. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an even, narrow stance. Strength in the hands and has jump off the barrel. Good backspin and carry to the pull side. Shows power with an aggressive approach and intent to hit balls hard. Great student. Verbal commitment to Texas.
