Isaac Gonzaga is a 2023 2B/C, SS, OF with a 5-4 135 lb. frame from Oakley, CA who attends Freedom. Developing young build, skills will improve as frame fills out. Primary infielder with a quick release that gets the ball out efficiently. Does not take the extra step after gathering and throwing across the diamond. In game, showcased developing glove work and framing skills behind the dish. At the plate, has a wide base and feels handsy overall. Heavy linear weight shift in the box with an upward barrel plane. Uses weight shift and creates some leverage in his swing. Middle of the field to opposite field approach. Works his hands to the ball nicely. Good student with a 3.6 GPA.
