Ian Soto Roman is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Florida, PR who attends Academia Cristiana de Manati. Big and strong athletic build, especially in his lower half. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance, loads to his back side well, has some quickness in his hands and present bat speed, best when he's pulling his hands in and turning on the ball, showed his power potential well in batting practice and games. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Has a long and loose arm action in the outfield, arm works really well from lower slots, moves well to the ball especially for his size and has a quick exchange and release. Would be interesting to see on the mound with how well his arm works from the lower slot, has been up to 88 mph on the mound before. Good student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
