Alec Rodrigues is a 2023 C/RHP, OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends James Logan. Medium build with present strength. Ran a 8.23 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Employs a balanced even stance. Showed good footwork working from behind the plate gaining ground well into throws. Displayed good transfers into throws with good arm strength using a lower arm slot topping out at 67 MPH and posting a 2.19 second pop time. Also worked out in the outfield. Displayed deliberate actions working to and through the ball creating good momentum into throws. Flashed quicker transfers into throws with good arm strength and developing accurate carry to the bases topping out at 73 MPH from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright slightly open stance with a rotational lower half. Flashed an uphill barrel plane looking to turn the barrel and drive the ball to the pull side. Showed the ability to create gap to gap power when on time and squared during batting practice.
